The project had a completion date of 27 weeks from start to finish. This was completed with all objectives met within the specified timeframes, and also included additional works agreed during the contract, and prior to the final hand over. Scope Of Works
Containment
We installed heavy-duty galvanised cable ladder, cable trays, trunking and cable basket for all services within all buildings, including mains distribution, lighting, power, data, fire alarm, security and door access
LV Distribution
400A MCCB distribution boards were installed to locations within the production areas, to allow for the installation of local 125A & 250A MCB distribution boards, for the proposed lighting and power circuits.
Power
Due to the scope of the project, the customer required power supplies to a wide range of equipment throughout different areas of the premises. We supplied power to the following:
• Floor boxes in offices and meeting rooms.
• Pilot Line, Production Line, Assembly Room and Working Bays.
• Workshop, Maintenance and Machine Shop.
• 13A socket outlets for general purpose and cleaners use.
Lighting
• Within the production areas we installed Schneider Canalis busbar trunking at high level, and installed LED low bay fittings with built in microwave sensors, installed directly onto the busbar.
• LED lay in panels were installed on ground floor suspended ceiling throughout the corridors and toilets. These lights have a greater efficiency, saving the client on the long-term running costs.
• LED black linear lighting was installed throughout the first-floor office suites.
• Bespoke LED Hexagonal light fittings were installed throughout the breakout area and gymnasium, which is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
• Full emergency lighting system was installed to give the best possible light levels during a power failure.
Heating & Ventilation
We installed new power supplies to all HVAC equipment. This included all control cabling.
Fire Alarm System
An addressable system was installed into each warehouse which were interlinked to ensure an active and comprehensive fire detection and alarm system.
Data
We installed data cables across the site using Cat 6 cable. To maximise the network coverage, we installed additional Wi-Fi hubs throughout the premises, including some at high level.
Door Access System
To enable a higher level of security and monitoring and to limit access to particular sections of the premises, we installed a Paxton door access system throughout the site.
Security Alarm and CCTV System
Hikvision security cameras and alarm system were installed throughout the site, with remote access, enabling 24-hour surveillance.
Car EV Charging Stations
5 x 22kw GARO EV Chargers were installed to the front car park in addition to 1 x 55kw GARO EV Charger for the charging of the commercial vehicles.
Testing
Upon completion, full electrical testing was undertaken, and certification was issued to the client.
